Role Contribution:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for driving whole site asset reliability, operational safety, and engineering excellence across the resin manufacturing plant. This role ensures maximum uptime of critical process equipment—including reactors, blenders, and high-temperature thermal systems while strictly adhering to Process Safety Management (PSM) standards. By blending strategic financial management with hands-on technical leadership, the Maintenance Manager optimizes utility consumption, executes targeted CAPEX initiatives, and fosters a high-performance, safety-first culture to minimize maintenance costs per kilogram of finished resin
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Reliability: Implement and manage site-wide Preventive, Predictive, and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs for reactors, blenders, agitators, condensers, and positive displacement pumps.
Safety & Compliance: Lead the Mechanical Integrity element of Process Safety Management (PSM), ensuring strict statutory testing and inspection of pressure vessels, lifting tools, boilers, thermic fluid heaters, and hazardous piping.
Utility Management: Partner with Operational Excellence to guarantee an uninterrupted supply of critical utilities including chilled water, cooling water, compressed air, nitrogen, and electrical power—while optimizing consumption costs.
Financial Management: Formulate, allocate, and track the annual maintenance budget to rigorously control maintenance expenditures and optimize utility costs per kilogram of production.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of mechanical technicians, engineers, and third-party contractors to foster a high-performance culture.
Capital Projects (CAPEX): Coordinate and execute CAPEX projects targeted at process optimization, plant modifications, and capacity expansion.
Technical Integration: Utilize AutoCAD, Excel for advanced data interpretation, and SAP/ERP systems to streamline workflows, while driving Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 8 to 11 years of maintenance experience in a chemical, resin, or petrochemical plant and more than 3 years as a Managerial role.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge to do systematic analysis of failures and implement CAPA
Salary range up to 7000 AED per month including food expesnse.
