Hiring Video Editor Interns (Remote) for POST A RESUME HR Consultancy

Job Description:

POST A RESUME HR Consultancy is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern who can support podcast editing and create engaging reels for YouTube and social media. Similar roles typically emphasize editing raw footage into polished content, maintaining brand consistency, and adapting videos for multiple digital platforms.

Role Summary

The intern will work on editing podcast videos, creating short-form reels from long-form content, and helping build the brand presence of POST A RESUME across YouTube and social media. Short-form editing roles often require repurposing long videos into high-retention clips with strong hooks, subtitles, transitions, and trend-aware pacing.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit full-length podcast episodes for YouTube, including cuts, pacing, sound cleanup, and final polishing.

• Create YouTube reels/shorts from podcast episodes and other raw footage.

• Add captions, subtitles, transitions, text overlays, zoom effects, music, and basic motion elements to improve engagement.

• Repurpose long-form podcast content into short, attention-grabbing clips for digital platforms.

• Maintain proper file organization for raw footage, edited versions, thumbnails, and final exports.

• Ensure all edited videos match POST A RESUME’s brand tone, quality standards, and content goals.

• Collaborate with the founder/marketing team on content ideas, episode highlights, and promotional clips.

• Make revisions based on feedback and deliver content within deadlines.

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

• Understanding of podcast editing, including trimming pauses, cleaning audio, balancing sound, and improving overall flow.

• Ability to create YouTube Shorts/Reels with engaging pacing and platform-friendly formatting.

• Familiarity with captions, subtitles, transitions, effects, and audio syncing.

• Creative mindset with attention to detail and storytelling sense.

• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Student, fresher, or recent graduate in media, mass communication, design, animation, or any related field. Similar internship postings commonly target students and early-career candidates building a portfolio.

• Prior experience editing podcasts, reels, YouTube videos, or social media content is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of thumbnails, YouTube formatting, and social media trends is an advantage.
