Hiring Estimation and Costing Engineer/Manager for a Leading Manufacturing Industry - Changodar Location

Job Description:

Job Summary:

Responsible for leading estimation, costing, and pricing activities to ensure accurate quotations and profitable project execution for electrical panel manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze RFQs, specifications, SLD, GA drawings
• Lead preparation and validation of BOM and costing sheets
• Finalize pricing strategy and marginin coordination with management
• Guide estimation team for accurate and timely offer submission
• Coordinate with vendors for best pricing and technical compliance
• Handle large tenders and complex enquiries
• Identify cost optimization opportunities(alternate makes, value engineering)
• Ensure on-time submission of techno-commercial offers
• Track estimated vs actual costfor completed projects
• Manage variation costing and risk analysis
• Maintain cost database and standard templates

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of PCC, MCC, PLC, VFD panels
• Expertise in electrical components (ACB, MCCB, PLC, Drives, etc.)
• Ability to read and review SLD, GA, wiring diagrams
• Strong commercial understanding (costing, margin, negotiation)
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced)

• High accuracy in costing (95%+)
• Achieve target margin in all projects
• Fast turnaround time for offer submission
• Strong coordination with Sales, Design, Purchase, and Management
