Job Description:
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and 3D CAD models for injection mould components.
  • Setup and operate CNC turning machines to produce mould components including nozzles, neck inserts, cores, and cavities, Etc.
  • Monitor machine performance and ensure continuous and efficient operation during production cycles.
  • Select appropriate tools and cutting parameters for turning operations on hardened and pre-hardened material.
  • Optimize cutting speeds, feeds, and depth of cuts for surface finish and dimensional accuracy, especially for sealing areas and threaded elements in moulds.
  • Strong understanding of CNC lathe operation and programming basics (FANUC or Siemens controls).
  • Use measuring tools like Verniers, micrometres, bore gauges, surface testers, and height gauges to inspect parts.
  • Maintain machining logs, and tool life record as per company norms.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, Coolant level, Chip removal, cleaning, and alignment checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the machine area to ensure safe and efficient work conditions.
  • Collaborate with design, tool room, and quality teams for feedback and process improvements.
  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines with Fanuc and Siemens controller.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine settings and tooling requirements.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances.
  • Perform in-process inspection using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues independently or in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols at all times.
  • Complete production documentation, including job travelers and inspection records.

*Working Hours/ Office Timings: 12 Hours shift (Monday to Saturday)
