Exports Merchandiser

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Exports Merchandiser to join our team, responsible for managing exports of candles and home fragrance products to international markets. The ideal candidate will understand global market trends, export regulations, and product development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Export Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new export opportunities, analyze market trends, and stay informed about competitor activity.

2. Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, fragrances, and packaging that meet international market requirements and stay ahead of market trends.

3. Export Order Management: Manage export orders from inquiry to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient processing, and resolving any logistical or customer service issues.

4. Supplier Management: Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiating prices, lead times, and product quality.

5. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with international export regulations, laws, and standards, such as customs regulations, product safety standards, and packaging requirements.

6. Documentation and Logistics: Prepare and manage export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, and coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics providers.

7. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to international customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in exports, merchandising, or a related field,

preferably in the home fragrance or candle industry
