Production Engineer for a leading Heavy Engineering company

Job Description:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or process equipment industry.

• Diploma in Mechanical/Fabrication Engineering, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design and development of static process equipment and stainless-steel equipment.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering design tools.
• Develop detailed engineering designs for static process equipment and stainless-steel
• pharmaceutical equipment.
• Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications.
• Oversee the manufacturing process of equipment, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Work closely with production teams to address technical issues and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure equipment meets required standards.
• Analyze production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement process control systems to monitor equipment performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams and other departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment design, production, and operation.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and
• adherence to budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance.
• Prepare project reports and present findings.
• Ensure all equipment and processes comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate hazards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting equipment design and production.
