Job Description:

Role Summary: This is primarily a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer role. The candidate's main responsibility will be to manage, maintain, and enhance Azure CI/CD pipelines, oversee code merges, and ensure smooth deployment processes. Development work will be assigned as a secondary responsibility whenever pipeline management tasks allow.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience specifically in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage code integration, branch strategies, merge requests, and deployment processes.
• Ensure smooth, secure, and automated application deployments across environments.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and improve deployment reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps best practices.
• Monitor and maintain build and release pipelines to ensure high availability.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Contribute to application development and coding activities during available bandwidth.
• Support development teams with code reviews, build automation, and deployment-related improvements.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps and Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Git branching, code merging, and release management.
• Good understanding of build and deployment automation.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
• Development experience in .NET/C# (or relevant technology stack) is preferred, as the role includes coding responsibilities when pipeline-related work permits.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
