Process Engineer
Job Description:
Bachelor, Masters or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with Min 2-5 year’s experience
Assist with selecting equipment (e.g. tanks, pumps, heaters, etc.] for the enzymolysis process.
Prepare lab reports daily to summarize results of lab experiments.
Assist with selecting standard process chemicals (e.g. acids, bases, surfactants, etc.).
Assist with selecting specified enzymes (e.g. pectinases).
Assist with running a small research laboratory for conducting lab-scale experiments.
Assist with scaling from lab work to pilot trials to commercial volumes.
Conduct lab experiments daily to investigate process parameters (e.g. pH, temp., rpm, etc.).
Assist with running operations at commercial volumes.
