Job Description:

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced HR Compliance Manager to oversee all aspects of HR compliance within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role will involve working closely with HR staff, DRATA (Compliance software), management, and legal counsel to identify compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and OSHA.

           - SOC2 audit experience required

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of HR processes and practices to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR staff and management on compliance-related matters, including interpretation of laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in HR laws and regulations and ensure company policies and practices are updated accordingly.
  • Manage employee relations issues related to compliance matters, including investigations and resolution of complaints.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and other stakeholders to address complex compliance issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for HR staff, management, and employees.
  • Monitor and track compliance metrics and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Compliant and up-to-date writing HR policies in the U.S. and India

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR compliance or a related field.
  • Exposure on US and India Labor laws would be an added advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations for India and
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compliance management software is a must.
