Job Description:


Roles & Responsibility:

  1. Sales targets achievement
  2. New dealers appointment
  3. Relationship management with dealers
  4. Marketing activities
  5. Market research & feedback
  6. Sales Collection
  7. Weekly Reporting
  8. Review Meetings


  1. Sales targets achievement
  • Target achievement planning & execution (Weekly, monthly, annual)
  • Responsible for generating sales with existing dealers and developing opportunities with new dealers within assigned territory


  1. New dealers appointment
  • Establish, maintain and expand the dealers network in existing as well as new areas
  • Classification of dealers & suppliers
  • Enhancing the business strength of the dealers


  1. Relationship management with dealers
  • Address the needs & queries of dealers & facilitate them for better functioning
  • Share information and knowledge of various schemes, products etc. offered by company to dealers


  1. Sales promotion & marketing Activities
  • Conduct sales promotional activities like farmers meet, field activities etc. regularly


  1. Market research & feedback
  • Daily reporting on sales activities to top management
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors. NRICSPL / HRD / JD / Sales / 2018-19 2 | Page OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Sales Collection
  • Follow up with dealers for payment & collect it within time


  1. Weekly reporting
  • Tour programmed of week to be shared before beginning of the week.
  • At the end of every Saturday, each employee shall submit the summary of sales report in following format. Employee shall take print out of this format, fill up the form with handwritten notes & send the photograph of filled report through WhatsApp


  1. Review Meetings
  • It is mandatory for all to be present in review meetings held at every 15 days or month as decided by the management
  • You shall bring all the reports in meeting for discussion




  1. Technical Competencies
  • Knowledge of seasonal crops
  • Knowledge of agricultural products like pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides etc.
  • Knowledge of agricultural dealers, market etc.
  • Knowledge of customer mapping
  • Knowledge of sales promotional activities/promotional schemes
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management
