Cost Accountant for leading Trading house from Africa in Mumbai Location

Job Description:

• Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine EOQ, implementing inventory reduction techniques, Control on effective SKU System and Merchandize Category Management.
• Analyzing data collected and recording results
• Analyzing audits of landed costs and preparing reports
• Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
• Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
• Maintaining Cost Accounting System i.e. from SKU Creation to GR/IR Clearance.
• Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 Years of Cost Accounting in a Retail Industry Environment.
• Sound Knowledge in SAP MM, FICO
• Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Must have a strong Cost systems background and have sound understanding of accounting principles
• ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Product Costing and Cost reduction and Cost benefit analysis in the sheet
